He and his colleagues provide a broad range of services on a global scale, including investment and international banking, consultation on labor law, human resource management, tax planning, international law, and cultural sensitivity. Oscar Hilt Tatum IV also provides expert advice in such areas as international investment opportunities, private equity investing, and international financing.
Widely regarded as a leader in his field, Hilt Tatum assigns a high priority to education, and is currently pursuing an advanced business degree from Oxford University’s Said Business School. He has also completed a master class in Private Equity at the London Business School. His dedication to education extends beyond working to improve his own professional skills. Hilt Tatum and his wife Sarah, as well as his firm, enthusiastically support Project Joy, a philanthropic effort he established six years ago.
Project Joy’s most visible activity is its annual Christmas party, at which all the attending children are given gifts like bicycles, soccer balls, dolls and dollhouses, and similar items. In addition, each family attending is given a basket of food including a ham, rice, vegetables, and other staples to ensure or complement their Christmas meal. Sarah and Hilt Tatum see Project Joy as a year-round commitment, and the non-profit provides year-round support. This funding is primarily for education and consists of essentials like school supplies, scholarships, and financial support for schools and other community projects. Oscar Hilt Tatum IV views Project Joy as a long-term part of the community as well, and is looking forward to the day when the children he is helping now are accepted to college or open their own businesses. Project Joy will still be there to help them realize their dreams.
